About Me

With over 12 years of experience as a Clinical Psychologist, I’m passionate about helping individuals navigate life’s challenges with compassion, clarity, and evidence-based support. My work is grounded in the belief that with the right guidance and tools, everyone has the capacity to heal, grow, and thrive.

I’ve had the privilege of working in both the UK and Australia, supporting clients across a broad range of clinical settings. Alongside my private practice, I currently work with the Psychological Trauma Recovery Service (PTRS) at Austin Health, where I support individuals impacted by trauma. My previous work includes time at the Centre for Excellence in Eating Disorders (CEED), deepening my understanding of the complex psychological, emotional, and relational factors involved in eating difficulties.

My doctoral research focused on supporting partners of individuals with problematic substance use—an area that continues to inform my compassionate, systemic approach to therapy. I understand that mental health issues don’t occur in isolation, and I work holistically to consider the broader context of each person's life, relationships, and experiences.

A large part of my work involves supporting people experiencing depression and anxiety. These difficulties can feel overwhelming and isolating, but they are also highly treatable. I use a range of evidence-based approaches, including Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), and mindfulness-based strategies, to help clients better understand their emotional patterns, manage unhelpful thoughts, and reconnect with a sense of meaning and purpose. Whether you're facing long-standing struggles or more recent challenges, I provide a structured, supportive space where we can work together toward relief and long-term wellbeing.

As a psychologist, I bring warmth, empathy, and a genuine commitment to building a safe and respectful therapeutic relationship. Clients often describe me as approachable, thoughtful, and calm, and I strive to create a space where you can feel heard, understood, and supported—no matter where you're starting from.

Whether you're struggling with anxiety, trauma, depression, relationship difficulties, or life transitions, my aim is to work collaboratively with you to identify your goals, draw on your strengths, and support lasting, meaningful change.
